Set national priorities: The World Health Organization (WHO) National Action Plan for Health Security (NAPHS) is a useful resource for viewing an established plan of action for countries seeking to improve their health security capacities, including for certain standards included in the GHS Index. The NAPHS is an implementation guide that can be personalized to the needs of individual countries in order to accelerate the improvement of the core capacities of the International Health Regulations (IHR), and is based on a One Health all-hazards, whole-of-government approach.
